Welcome Back Warriors!!!!
Drama rehearsals will begin after school on Thursday from 3:45 to 4:45 in Rm. 704. All cast members are required to attend. Rehearsal schedules will be given out. Any tech crew members should also see Ms. Hemric that afternoon for details on assignments.
Registration for Miss Warrior and Mr. Warrior has begun. Packets can be picked up in Mr. Martin's room, and the $35 registration fee should be paid to Mrs. Knight in the business office.

This Tuesday and Wednesday we will hold full yearbook staff meetings beginning at 3:35 pm. Your presence is essential to complete the pages and spreads on which we have been working. Attention Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors; Register for the SAT Workshop in the Guidance Department. The workshop will be conducted during the school day from the hours of 9-1 p.m.. An increase in SAT scores will boost your chances for college scholarships and acceptance.
Mrs. Jamieson will be sponsoring a new student organization, called I Decide. It is intended to be a support group for students and faculty members who have diabetes or have family or friends who have diabetes. The first meeting will be at 8:15 on Wednesday morning in Mrs. Jamiesons room. Come see what ID is all about!
There are scholarships and contests open to more than just Seniors. Download descriptions of three contests here.
Students enrolled in Mrs. Champion's second semester Photography class must pay a $35 fee and have their own camera to use in class. The camera can be a digital "point and shoot" or a DSLR.
AthleticsAny girls or guys who know how to play lacrosse and are interested in playing some pick up games come to Ms. Alcock's room 804 before or after school for information. The games are January 31.
All returning men's soccer players, and anyone interested in playing soccer this year need to stop by Mr. Young's room today after school for a brief meeting.
JV girls basketball practice will be after school until 5:30.
Softball players should meet outside the weight room after school and be prepared to go outside. There will no JV practice today. Practice will be on Wednesday, January 7 from 4-5:30. There will be no girls soccer training today. Training will begin Tuesday January 6th after school. Freshman Girls Powder Puff Practice:

Practices are from 3:35 to 4:30 pm with Coach Lucchesi & Assistant Coach White BandAll Jazz Band members are reminded of Jazz Band rehearsal next Monday today from 4 until 6 PM in the band room. All Winter Color Guard embers are reminded of rehearsal this Tuesday and Thursday from 4:00 until 6:30 PM. Do you and your friends have what it takes to be the best "Rock Band" in Indian Land? Find out at the Indian Land Band's first annual "Rock Band" competition. On Friday, Feb. 6th, the Indian Land Warrior Band and Play N Trade, at the corner of Ardrey Kell and 521, will be holding a "Rock Band" competition from 6PM until 10PM in the commons area. Registration is $5 per member of each band and each band must have all four "Rock Band" instruments represented to compete. All bands must be registered by January 23rd. Tickets for the event will be $3 at the door. Concessions will be sold and a "Guitar Hero III" tournament will also be held on the side with a $3 entry fee. If you and your friends are interested in competing, please see Mr. Willis in the band room.
